HP Start Up and Service Instructions
- Please read owner’s manual prior to installation or operating parts washer
- Remove parts washer from pallet and move into desired area making sure it’s placed on a solid level surface.
- Reconnect main power switch knob. (Removed prior to shipping).
- Remove protective film.
- Connect compressed air line.
- Plug in the Power Cord.
- Open cabinet lid and remove the working shelf.
- Check the drain valve and make sure it’s in the closed position.
- Fill parts washer with detergent to the top of chip basket line.
- Replace working shelf.
- Turn the main power switch into the on position.
- Check the e-stop button buy turning the knob clockwise.
- Press power button.
- Turn thermostat to desired temperature (max temp 119°F)
- Adjust the window cleaning manifold.
- Open cabined lid
- Place part on the working table
- Close and lock cabinet lid
- Reach into gloves and firmly hold the sprayer wand.
- Press foot pedal switch and direct the jet spray at the part surface.
- Turn main power switch to coff position.
- Open cabinet lid and remove working table.
- Remove and empty chip basket into approved waste container.
- Transfer spent detergent into approved waste container.
- Clean solid debris from tank bottom and place into waste container.
(The generator of a waste is always responsible for making proper waste determinations and needs to consider state and local requirements in addition to federal regulations.)
- Replace chip basket.
- Replace working shelf.
- Remove filter housing and replace filter.
- Check the drain valve and make sure it’s in the closed position.
- Fill parts washer with new detergent to the fill line.
- Turn the main power switch to the on position.
- Press power button.
- Inspect filter and replace when necessary.
- Check fluid level and adjust as needed.
- Inspect chip basket.
- Cleanout and recharge with new parts washer fluid.
- Check gloves for damage and replace when necessary.
